Subject: Roberto Clemente Sport City and the RBI Program

Hello:

My name is Maribel López and I am from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. My son, Jamille Acevedo, who is 15 years old has been participating in the RBI program since he was 10 years old. I must say that the program is excellent since they focus not only in the baseball fundaments but also in teaching values, team work, academic approach and some other good stuff. The RBI director, Eddie Rodriguez, works giving these kids a lot of knowledge and by the way keeping them out of the streets and of all the violence that is around our society.

I must say that my son has learn a lot and he likes a lot the program. The Clemente's family is doing their job by maintaining the RBI program here in Puerto Rico. Probably not all these boys are going to make it to the MLB, but a couple of them will have a future in baseball and the majority will become useful to our society.
